Now Folks, if you missed this one, you missed a great auction. We had a great crowd and lots of great merchandise. Once again, we gave away a $100.00 cash prize to one of our lucky attendee's. Although it was somewhat hot, we still had a great time. Thanks to Tew's Day Cafe located next door at Bob's Famous Boiled Peanuts for the concessions and Weddings, Tents, Etc. for the tent. Now Folks, if you missed this one, you missed a blockbuster! We had great weather, a great crowd of bidders, great merchandise and the blessings of God himself. We could not have asked for better conditions, merchandise or people to help make this event any better. God truly blessed us with this event and I truly believe everyone involved received the same. This was a hard one on me because one of the estates we were doing belonged to a good friend of mine. It was hard to sell the estate that belonged to him and his family. It was exceptionally hard the first time I walked into his house and saw his pictures of my children as they grew up. He truly loved us and we loved him. He was a blessing to our family. I know that God works in mysterious ways and I know that there was a reason we were called upon to handle this one. But then, God has a reason for everything. Let me begin by thanking everyone who contributed their time and efforts to make this such an enjoyable and memorable event. I would also like to thank the American Cancer Society for allowing us to be a part of such an incredible event. A fine meal was served (BBQ whole hog & chicken), silent and live auctions, Casino games, and dancing to the awesome music of the "Bo Brannon Band"! The "Candle Remembrance Ceremony" was absolutely overwhelming! Cancer is such a terrible disease that has touched everyone in the world. Everyone who attended or contributed in any way should feel truly blessed. Praise be to God! Folks, if you missed this one, you should kick yourself. As usual, the ladies made some fine cakes that sold like gold. The youth sold concessions and folks came from everywhere. God truly blessed this event. All the proceeds when to the Panther Creek Freewill Baptist Church building fund and the youth department. God truly blessed us with great weather, a great crowd, and a great time of fellowship to all those who attended. We want to thank the Panther Creek Freewill Baptist Church for allowing us to be a part of their ministry.

We even had a surprise auctioneer show up that really surprised me. You will have to call me to get that story. Col. Charles Wooten was presented with his Auctioneer's Belt Buckle. We are very proud of Col. Wooten. (Click here for details) We were able to help the Wiregrass Chapter of the American Red Cross raise some much needed funds to assist those in need right here in the Wiregrass Area. IT WAS A GREAT DAY. WE HAD GREAT WEATHER, GREAT FOOD, GREAT MERCHANDISE, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, A GREAT CROWD. ALL IN ALL...IT WAS A GREAT DAY FOR OUR LORD.
I WOULD LIKE TO PERSONALLY COMMEND COL. JOSH DAVIS AND COL. CHARLES WOOTEN. I KNEW THESE GUYS HAD A LOT OF POTENTIAL, BUT AFTER YESTERDAY, I FEEL TRULY BLESSED THAT I HAVE THE PRIVILEGE OF HAVING TWO SUCH AWESOME APPRENTICE AUCTIONEERS. THEY DID MOST OF THE BID CALLING AND DID A FANTASTIC JOB. It was a long day. We had a great crowd and they stayed with us. We bumped the first prize up from $100.00 to $300.00 dollars and still gave a $100.00 2nd prize. It was a great auction experience for the most part.
But hey, let's give credit where credit is due. God Almighty gave us some great weather, the finest help an auction company would ever need, and as fine a crowd of friends and customers anyone could ever dream of.
Greg Davis did his usual great job of setting up the auction. he went above and beyond on this one folks. you would have had to have seen what he started with to really appreciate what he turned it in to. it could not have been organized any better. I am going to have to quit bragging on Greg...somebody is going to try to steal him away from us.

This has to be the most diverse auction WE have ever had the privilege of doing. We had a long way to go and a short time to get there on this one. We only had three weeks notice.
Thanks to Greg, Josh & Tony, we were able to get it done.
As usual, Greg worked his magic and put things together in a way that only he can do.
I want to take this opportunity to thank my entire staff for all their hard work on auction day. I thank god almighty for each of them. they really make me look good. I had so many compliments on everyone's performance. god has truly blessed US with abundance.

I would like to thank the grand lodge of free and accepted masons of the state of Alabama for their confidence in US by allowing us to perform this service for them.
