our friends, clients and customers, by giving you our all to
ensure that your auction experience is a positive one.

you are important to us and we appreciate you choosing

Now let me tell you
about the

Greg joined the
WA&R Family
in March, 2006. He came to us to help set up a restaurant
equipment auction in Daleville, Alabama. Greg is the
finest set-up man I have ever had the privilege of being
associated with. Greg has a vast amount of experience and
ability in the auction business. He is a great asset to
the
Watson
Auction &
Realty
family
and we do not know what we would do without him.
Please know that Greg chose us and we do appreciate his hard
work and work ethic. |

completed Auctioneer's School at TUD on March 10th, 2007.
Josh also completed the Real Estate School at TUD under the able
guidance of Real Estate Instructor and Auctioneer Dwight Wells
and is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson. Josh
is serving his apprenticeship with
WA&R.
Josh was literally
raised in the auction business. Josh was one of the first
people I met when I was an Apprentice under
Col. Larry G. Smith (AL
#916). Josh has displayed a great amount of
expertise and ability in his short time as an Apprentice
Auctioneer.
Watson
Auction
& Realty
has greatly benefited
from Josh's experience and appreciate the fact that he chose to
be a part of the Watson Auction & Realty Family. |

Now here's a big old boy. Charles
completed Auctioneer's School at TUD on March 10th, 2007 in the
same class as Josh Davis. Charles displayed a great amount
of potential during the auctioneer's class. Charles is
serving his apprenticeship with
WA&R.
Charles has also displayed a great amount of expertise and
ability in his short time as an Apprentice Auctioneer. As
of June, 2008, Charles has successfully completed his
apprenticeship and passed his Auctioneer's test. The
paperwork making him a full Auctioneer is pending. Charles
said he plans to remain with us as an auctioneer. We will
be a better company for that reason. We appreciate Charles for choosing to become a member of the
Watson
Auction &
Realty
family.
UPDATE: Congratulations to Charles.
He recently finished his apprenticeship and has now become a
full-fledged auctioneer. He's for hire and he's good at
what he does. We are thankful that he is going to hang

SMITH

collarrysmith@aol.com |
Larry is my mentor. He took me on as
an Apprentice Auctioneer after I finished Auctioneer's School in
July 2002. Larry is like a brother to me. I can
always depend on Larry for help on auction day. Larry owns
Smith Auction Service.
Although we are now competitors, we are still friends. At
times, we compete for the same jobs. At the end of the
day, whichever one of us doesn't get it helps the one who did.
Larry has an outstanding reputation for honesty and integrity in
the auction business and is true friend and fine member of the
Watson

family. |

Henry
D.
Martin
Resource Manager |
Mr. Henry D. Martin has been a member of
the
Watson
Auction &
Realty
family
since day one. He is my neighbor of 20+ years and like a
father to my family and me. "Mr. Henry" as we call him,
watched the WA&R
dream unfold and has been an integral part of its growth since
its birth. Mr. Henry is always there to help put up signs,
set up auctions, greet our customers, or anything else that
needs to be done. It would be hard for us to operate
without Mr. Henry. He is 81 years old and works like a
teenager. He is the ruler by which honesty and integrity
are measured and brings a steady hand to the
Watson
Auction
& Realty
family. |
NEVA
WATSON
Head Clerk |
Neva is
always there. She supports all of us. She has the
most stressful job at the auction as Head Clerk. Neva is
my wife of 23 years. She has stood beside me through thick
and thin. I couldn't make it without her. She keeps
me straight and makes sure all the I's are dotted and all the
T's are crossed. She is everybody's Mama...and we all
know; "When Mama ain't happy, there ain't nobody happy!"
Neva helps us all pull together and keeps all of us straight.
It just wouldn't be a family without her. She is the
backbone of the
Watson
Auction &
Realty
family. |
INEZ
HAGLER
Cashier |
Mrs. Inez came on board with us back in
April, 2007 at the Ludlam Estate Liquidation Auction in Barbour
County, Alabama. She was a quick study and had a trial by
fire on that day. It was a busy day and she proved her
worth in a short time. She really understands business.
Customer service seems to be her specialty. We appreciate
her friendly service and consider her to be a great friend,
neighbor and valuable member of the
Watson
Auction
& Realty
family. |
|
ANGELA
CHERRY
Cashier |
We are proud to announce that Mrs. Angela
Cherry will be joining our family. She came to us by
accident. She was attending the Gary N. Harbin Estate
Auction on April 19, 2008 with her husband Jason and her
children Hannah and Aaron. We had an overflow crowd and
were shorthanded in getting people registered for the auction.
She saw that we needed help and grabbed the bull by the horns.
She jumped in without even being asked. Her family had to
leave early and she told them to go ahead without her. She
was there to help. She had never worked an auction before,
but it was quite evident that she was a quick study. By
the end of the day, she was handling things like a pro.
The next day at church I asked here if she would be interested
in joining us since Mrs. Lisa Grimes was leaving. She
graciously accepted.
She is our neighbor and attends Kinsey Baptist Church with us. We
are looking forward to working with Angela and feel that she
will be a valuable asset to the
Watson
Auction
& Realty
family. |

KACIE
WATSON
Asst Cashier
Asst. Clerk
Ringer |
Kacie is my oldest daughter. She has the mental attitude of an adult.
She is very determined and regimented. She can clerk,
cashier or ring with the best. She is very dependable and
reliable. I am very proud of her and her accomplishments.
She makes "straight A's" at Northside Methodist Academy and
aspires to go to medical school and be a Pediatrician after she
finishes high school. Kacie has been in the auction
business with us since age 12. We are proud of her and her
accomplishments in the
Watson
Auction
& Realty
family. |

WHITNEY
WATSON
Ringer
Ticket Runner
Napper
Future Auctioneer |
Whitney is my youngest daughter.
She has been with me in the auction business since age 9.
Whitney is an accomplished bid caller because she learned all
the tricks with her dad. She worked with me when I was
learning tongue twisters and number drills in preparation for
auctioneer's school. She has helped me develop my chant
and in doing so has developed her own. Whitney is an
affective ringer. She runs clerk tickets at the auctions
and never fails to take a nap when the opportunity presents
itself. Whitney wants to go to auctioneer's school when
she finishes high school. You don't have to wonder what
Whitney is thinking...she will certainly share it with you.
We look forward to Whitney's future with us and consider her to
be an integral part of our team and a fine attribute to the
Watson
Auction &
Realty
family. |

Jeff
Watson
Floor Man, Loading Out & General Labor |
Now you might say that Jeff has been
with me since birth. He is actually my brother. Jeff
loves the auction business and always gets excited at the
prospect of helping with another auction. There is no job
too large or too small for Jeff. He helps with every part
of the auction from the presentation of merchandise, to ringing
and loading out when auction is over. It would be hard to
operate without Jeff on our team. Jeff is very dependable
and we are proud to have him as a member of the
Watson
Auction
& Realty
family. |

Herbert
Thompson
&
Kevin
Strickland
Floor Man, Loading Out & General Labor |
Herbert and Kevin came on board with
WA&R
in December, 2006. It seems like much longer because they
were always at our auctions and always volunteering to help out.
Herbert is a life long friend of mine. Herbert and I were
in high school together. I guess I have known Herbert all
my life. Herbert's work ethic is unparalleled and his
ability to get the job done is unequalled anywhere.
I have known Kevin for years too.
Kevin is Herbert's stepson and, like Herbert, it seems that
Kevin has always been there. Both Kevin and Herbert proved
their resourcefulness and worth before ever receiving a dime for
their efforts. Herbert
& Kevin are great assets to us and we thank them for choosing to
be a member of the
Watson
Auction
& Realty
family. |
